'Lion of the East' :an Inca influenced glazed pottery mask, designed by Richard Garbe; edge signed by artist and dated 1934. 35cm long. (This is the prototype for the mask introduced in 1935 as a limited edition of 100 in bone china, in white and and green glazes).
